Our West Coast Big Jump was nothing short of AMAZING! We had a full weekend of friendship, fitness, fun and fellowship and are so grateful to all of our West Coast Captains, CoCaptains, Delegates and members for putting together such a phenomenal event! I loved seeing so many of our sisters from different subClubs representing our sisterhood and coming together jumping, laughing, playing, singing, dancing. hula hooping and taking pictures together- but what moved me the most were all of the sisters who pulled me aside to say how grateful to God they are for this 40+ Double Dutch Club movement! ❤️Monday Motivation w/ Stephanie A. Roberts ❤️ Don't Give up!  God will SHOW UP!!! Happy September my beautiful 40+ DDC sisters!!!! It’s another day, another week and another month that we are Blessed to embrace!!!! Let’s GET up, CHEER up and REFUSE to give up because God is going to show up! HE may not come when we want him to, but HE'S ALWAYS right on time!! And many of us have receipts to prove it!!! It's a new week, a new month and a new opportunity to Rise up, Reach up, and Gear up! Why?!? God is going to Show up! No matter what it is that we're dealing with or what we may be facing, today is the day to Think up, Quiet up and Listen up because when we Listen up we can hear God Speaking up as HE'S Encouraging us not to let up!!!  During the gray days in our lives just begin to Raise up, Praise up,  and Pray up!!! These  are the days when we see God really show up in full Affect!!!  The Bible says, "Look to the hills from which comes our help knowing that all of our help comes from the LORD."  "It is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9. If you're starting this week off feeling down, I want to encourage you not to give up!!! Instead begin to Lift up, Level up and Build up the areas where you know you need to Step up!! "Putting on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." Ephesians 6:13. Donnie McClurkin can put the icing on the cake. 🎶 🙏🏽🎼 🙌🏼🎤 😇🎵  Don't you bow, and don't you bend Don't give up, and, don't give in! Hold on! Just be strong! God will step in And it won't be long! WITH STEPHANIE A ROBERTS Happy Motivational Monday my 40+ DDC Sisters! It was really great seeing many of your beautiful faces last weekend at our NATIONAL PLAY DATE here in Chicago! The ENTIRE weekend was phenomenal from the Beyond the Ropes – Documentary to an afternoon of Double Dutch, Hopscotch, Hula Hooping and Line Dancing all over House of Hope, to God allowing the RAIN to REIGN over each of us last Sunday!!! It will definitely be a weekend that we will never forget because it was a Glorious time of Friendship, Fitness, Fun and Fellowship! So if you missed it this year, be sure to put it on your calendar for next year! In the meantime, let me encourage somebody this week to ENDURE THE CUTTING! Let me say that again for the people in the back. This week I want to encourage somebody to ENDURE THE CUTTING. Sometimes, in order to get to our healing, we have to be cut! Yes, sometimes in order to get to TRUE wholeness, we must be cut! So don't complain when you get cut by somebody’s word, comment, or even physically being cut! Sometimes we need to be wounded to get the outcome of healing! STOP whining and STOP complaining when you get cut! Just take a moment to tell God, that you TRUST HIM because HE’S in CONTROL and endure the cutting! In 2017 I had a hysterectomy. They had to cut me with four small incisions to remove my uterus in order to stop the excessive bleeding that I was enduring. I went into surgery at 5:30 am and my husband was helping me to the car exiting the hospital at 1:30pm the same day! The issue started in 2013 and I endured it and was dealing with it for 4 long years until I finally decided to accept the cutting and endure the woundedness in order to get my healing that led to my wholeness! Honey, I said anybody who ever wanted a uterus could have mine because the bleeding was making me weak, miserable and unhealthy. I was going to the bathroom every time the bell rang as a Middle-School Teacher! I had extra clothes in my purse, in my bag, in my car, and in my classroom closet because it would come out of nowhere! All because I was trying to hold on to something that was preventing being healed and whole!! Sometimes we're trying to keep people, places and things that are preventing us from our healing and wholeness! What are you holding onto? Who are you holding onto? ENDURE the cutting and get your healing sis! And when you get through that healing process, you’ll look back and thank God for your Victory!!!!! I can truly say, today in 2022 ... honey I am 5 years into my healing and wholeness from a monthly cycle and many other areas in my life, because I ENDURED the CUTTING! So, this week, no matter where, when or how we're being cut, know that if we’re being cut... God is allowing it to happen because HE wants us to embrace TRUE HEALING and WHOLENESS! Let’s commit to ENDURING THE CUTTING! Alright y’all, I’m signing off for this week!
